What's up everybody? This is the Objective Jerk, and I'm said jerk, hope everybody is. Well, this is going to be a trailer reaction. I don't do. I mean, I've played around with doing like trailer reactions in the past and stuff, but it's not really. I don't really care to do it, it's not my thing. Plus, I just, I don't know I done with hollywood for the most part. I just don't care about the crap they put out now. So, but I, I don't know.
Speaker 1:So I wanted to talk about, um, gladiator 2, and then I was gonna watch the trailer, um, so all I know is, yeah, there's gladiator 2 and denzel's in it, ridley scott is directing it, I think, um, you know, and it's basically a sequel to a movie which we nobody was really asking for. Though you know, like what? Gladiator two? What I don't know. To me, if anything, they should have just been like gladiator. They should have just had it, like you know, like they do with some sequels, so just putting a two on it put gladiator. You know the rise of whatever, I don't know something. But here I'm going to check it out, um, and let's see. Let's see what it is.
Speaker 1:All right, before I do this, though. This is. This is an insert. This is after the fact, as I'm editing the all you're going to do. As far as podcast goes, you're going to hear me reacting, obviously, and there's no audio from the trailer, though, so you don't really hear what I'm reacting to, which I brain farted and didn't think about, but I cut out as much of the dead spots as I could, so it goes fairly quick. I just wanted to warn you all that you know you're going to be hearing me just saying some things about a trailer that you cannot hear, but the whole podcast is not that. I just want to let you guys know.

I hate when they do a trailer before a trailer Like what's that about? Oh, okay, so it's. So, it's the kid, I don't know my, I thought that was his mom, was it his aunt? Crap, I have to watch gladiator again. Water, something's gonna eat him. Yeah, hope he's not trying to be like joaquin Phoenix Dude, that guy's in everything.
Speaker 1:Who's that guy, the main dude? I don't know who that is. Oh, so Denzel's like um, what's his name? Christopher Christopher, what was that guy? That actor read something, read that died when they were making it. I don't remember the character's name Rhino Going to blind it. I don't remember the character's name, rhino Gonna blind it. Oh, okay, that's more than one head Maximus Aurelius, or what was his name. It's been a while Dude.
Speaker 1:Why, what's with the fucking Kanye or whatever? I mean they do that with everything. Now they put some kind of song that kind of reminds me of Troy, what they recorded on the podcast. I got to turn that off. I have it on my phone, did not? Um, all right, so there it is, um, that's why I don't do reactions, cause I, I watch them, I don't. I don't really react much, um, so that's why I never really got into. You know, some people are like, oh, my God, what I don't know, but I'm just not very animated and um, I try, like I got, to tell myself, okay, I'm reacting, so say something. Um, I can take these out now let's see. Uh, it honestly it looks pretty good. Um, but it's like I said, it's it's why.
Speaker 1:Why do a gladiator 2? Why not just do a different movie set in that time period, kind of you know what I mean? I don't know, like I would rather them do spartus. Why not remake Spartacus, even though that doesn't need to be remade? But I'm just saying, if you're going to remake something, make Spartacus instead of Gladiator. It's almost like, and it looks like the same fucking movie. It looks like the Force Awakens, for you know Star Wars. This looks like a basically remake, or mean, it is a remake, but it's the same movie with some little differences. You know what I mean. And it's like it's things that maybe Ridley Scott wanted to do, like, oh man, you know what I wish I would have done in this movie and all those little ideas he did in this movie. You know what I'm saying? I don't know, but it's getting a lot of hate.
Speaker 1:Um, yeah, for I didn't bring up any articles or nothing, but I did watch. Um, I watched. Uh, what's his name? Yellow flash or flash, whatever guy has a YouTube channel and he was talking about that. Um, nerd erotic, um was getting all kinds of heat and some crap. For you know, because he was dissonant or whatever, I haven't watched it.
Speaker 1:Should I watch it? See what he says? Maybe I will. I don't know, man, it's gonna be a lot of editing. You know me, I'm lazy. Um, so I have my video player and then I have my audio player, basically for the podcast and the. The audio one's been recording this whole time while I've been. It's been a mess. So this is going to be, for me, an editing nightmare anyway.
Speaker 1:Um, yeah, see, do I need to talk about that? See, that's why I'm not good at reaction. I just don't care, but anyway, so the movie it looks like it's. It looks like it'd be like if the first gladiator wasn't around. This movie would be like whoa dude, this looks cool, but it's like it looks just like the original one. I don't know, it just seems like it's just not, it's just not needed, and that's kind of what hollywood is now. Man, they just, they just regurgitate. They haven't over the same crap. That's why everybody gets annoyed.
Speaker 1:And when people sit there and say that you know what the hell do? We need another gladiator? Oh, you don't like it. Is it because denzel's in it? You're a racist dude, the fucking. The guy in the first gladiator was black digimon, dijon houston. Whatever his name. I don't know his name, dijon houston. But you know, everybody loves that movie. But you're only racist if you don't like it's not.
Speaker 1:I bet you was probably going to do pretty good. I think people might not go at first and then word of mouth will come out and be like oh man, dude, it's so good though. Or they're going to be like dude, it's gladiator, all over again, with some subtle differences, which is what it kind of looks like. So I don't know. I think one of those two um outcomes will is what's going to happen. It's either going to do pretty good word of mouth, it's going to go out and people will go and eventually see it, or they're going to be dude, it's just glad you're all over again. So save your money, because I mean, I don't know who, the guy that's playing the I forget his name, the main character, though. I don't know that guy or I didn't recognize him anyway.
Speaker 1:Denzel's always awesome. I mean, is he in a bad movie? Maybe, but he's always good in it, no matter what. And that's the thing People are like oh, he's always good in it, no matter what. And that's the thing people are like, oh, he's racist. It's like, dude, everybody loves Denzel, everybody. There's nobody that he's, even racist people who are actually racist love Denzel. You know what I mean. It's like shut up. No, I think what people? Only thing I can gather is the. You know, it looks like gladiator, exactly Same concept and everything, just a few different characters. And then I guess the music in the trailer, you know, you got like a contemporary hip hop with, you know, roman, so, but that's just a trailer, you know, and that's kind of what they do now. So I'm sure in the movie it's going to be like epic scores and stuff like that. If the movie comes out and people say no, there's like hip-hop during the movie, then I know people are gonna be like that's gonna be a big no-no right there, but I doubt it, I doubt it. A big no-no right there, but I doubt it, I doubt it, but yeah, so that's kind of it.

So I do watch Nerd Rock and stuff sometimes, but I do think they're like, like they really try hard to find something to criticize, like a little too much sometimes, but most of their, most of what he says, I agree and think okay, here we go.
Speaker 1:Titanic too. Might've been young. How old are these guys? Yeah, more than 20. It was out in 2000, I think, wasn't it? Yeah, I think so. 2000, 2001. Something like that. I remember seeing it in theaters.

Yeah, shit, I'm supposed to stop it and talk about it. I mean, fuck, nobody watches my channel. So I think I'll be all right.

Speaker 1:You know they're being what they do with all movies, but it's like they're thinking like, oh, there's no reason for them to to criticize this. Why would they criticize gladiator? It's the most manly testosterone movie there is, you know. Well, not really, I guess 300, maybe I don't know, but anyway, you know what I'm saying it's like. But you know that's what they do.
Speaker 1:They, they criticize everything and, um, like they hate, um, what's his nuts? Zack Snyder, which I don't love. Well, no, maybe I love Zack Snyder, but I'm not like I don't, I don't, I don't, like I've talked about before, I'm not like a huge, I don't geek over everything that Zack Snyder does. I do like a lot of his stuff, but there's some things I don't like. But you know they criticize him pretty hard.
Speaker 1:So I mean, that's just kind of what they do, because people like that's what they like to watch, they like, most people like him and Critical Drinker, they like it when a movie sucks, more so than when they praise a movie. You know what I mean, because it's funnier and it just gets more views when they don't like a movie. So I think they do kind of really try to not like a movie, especially like a mainstream movie. And then you know something that comes out like Godzilla Minus One. They're like oh my god, it's so great, dude, it was, it was, it was, it was pretty good. I finally watched it, but anyway, but yeah, so that's kind of it.
Speaker 1:I guess I wanted to try something a little different. Didn't work out all that great. I don't think I need to remember, if I do this again, to pause Throughout, because they do copyright crap, I guess. But I mean I got a small channel.
